An Overview:
For those who have keen interests in Interior Design and Architecture, this certificate
program presents the fundamentals and provides hands-on training in the discipline
of designing interior and architecture. This Certificate program is designed for those
seeking employment in Residential & Commercial Design including Retail showroom and
determine to obtain the knowledge quickly or in a short period of time.
Students will learn all aspects of project design, space planning, materials selection,
technical drawings, furniture specification, accessories and design presentation skills.
The duration of this program is one month (8 full days - 9am to 5pm).
This Certificate program focuses on residential and commercial design. Students will
study theory, concept, space planning, lighting, colour, history, materials, fabrics,
detailing and written communication skills.
Upon completion of this program, students will have:
1. The ability to solve design problems and an understanding of the needs of a project.
2. An understanding of fundamental interior design & architecture principles.
3. Practice with technical floor plan drawing & drafting using AutoCAD 2D software.
4. Practice with 3D Perspective Designs using AutoCAD 3D Advanced techniques.
5. Practice with 3D Realistic Designs using 3D Studio Max with materials & lightings.
6. Practice with walk-through animation techniques using 3DS Max camera methods.
7. Practice realistic image renderings using VRay software.
8. Practice with image superimpose techniques using Adobe Photoshop techniques.
9. Practice in design presentation using attractive graphics using Adobe Illustrator.
10. The ability to create 3D Visualizations quickly & efficiently with high speed skills.

Class Capacity & Training Methods:
1. Training will be conducted in our computer lab around 5 - 6 students per session.
2. Trainer will demonstrate the techniques using a HD projector.
3. Students progress will be monitored one to one or individually.
4. Training is very hands-on (practical) based on the mini projects given.
